We purchased the rock and ride package that includes your stay 3 nights, 2 three day passes to heavenly/Kirkwood, a coupon book and a swag bag. We looked forward to this weekend only to be extremely disappointed.

With a heavy sigh I am writing this review.I have NEVER written a negative one before but this is warranted. maybe not done yet? Just a ride in the elevator tells it all.scratches and scuffs we are pretty sure date back to the time Elvis was 'in the house'. drinks are extremely expensive ($10.00 average for mixed) and the facility, while it is better than before, is dated and not what one would expect for a place with a name as big as the Hard Rock! There are so many details that were overlooked. On the second night we went to The Oyster Bar, the oysters are amazing and reasonable $14.00 per dozen and FRESH!! Ok.here's the negative. We then went to Vinyl ,for the free Country Western Show and had a blast singing and dancing for two hours. On our first night we had dinner at the Fire Break and the food was good.not overly expensive and service was great. Our room (double queen on the 8th floor) was super clean with comfortable beds and the best part.awesome lake views!! The rooms do not have refrigerators, microwaves or coffee makers so be prepared if you want to bring any of your own provisions or pay extra if you want the HR to provide. My husband and I stayed two nights and overall it was a pleasant experience.
